Regional Key Account Manager – Pharma & Healthcare

Job description

Responsible for the Account Management of specific Pharma & Healthcare customers in our Western European Region

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategy for each of the allocated regional accounts
  • Act as the strategic point of contact – liaising with Regional sales structure and calling on internal business unit specialists when necessary
  • Create and execute specific pharma operational guidelines for account
  • Control service performance and takes / initiates corrective actions in case of issues and acts as escalation point for Global and National Accounts
  • Build external industry network relations and represents Kuehne + Nagel as the industry expert

Your skills and experience

  • A Degree in Business/Supply Chain from a reputable institution
  • Profound Key Account experience within the Logistics and Freight Forwarding industry in Europe
  • Strong working understanding of pharma and healthcare supply chain operations
  • A demonstrable track record of success in achieving personal and departmental targets
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and actions
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills and an expert in closing deals
  • Flexible in time and location
